Cannot edit my own posts

I found out that, I’m not able to edit my posts/replies in threads. There’s no “Edit” button in the three-dot dropdown menu on the post.

    This is not a problem, but rather a setting in the permissions, as they are set to approximately the ability to edit within 5 minutes of publishing, after which the edit button will disappear.

    Not on my end. Moreover, I cannot edit even this topic. There’s no dropdown menu at all.
