I am unable to react to a post numerous times from my end. When I click on the reaction many times, it is only recorded once (I used your post in this example).

I have just noticed this on one of my post’s today and can only assume it might have something to do with the other issue occurring on the Microsoft Edge browser. I am using the latest version; Microsoft Edge Version 129.0.2792.52 (Official build) (64-bit). Hovering over the reaction also has the same user three times. Whether or not the member reacted three times or not, I’m not sure.

There is a discussion about on this on Invision Community already, feel free to chime in but considering it’s an implementation to enhance security for your community, I don’t see the decision being reversed. Only you know what’s good for your community, but don’t let the keyboard warriors on the internet sway you either way. Do a feature comparison, be logical in what you require (some do a pros and cons list), and you’ll find the right fit. When there is too much incorrect and fanboy/fangirl noise, you’ll never be able to pick your ideal software.

There is no public download for IC5 just yet. You can only use it here on the Alpha preview site or ask for an invitation to become an alpha tester. You’ll run a demo instance of the site that you can play around with as if it was your own community.

The only thing removed from Commerce is the ability to ship or post physical products. Technically, you can still have physical products in your store. This setting is set to ‘never’ out of the box or on a new installation. If you want this function to occur, you will need to enable it in your AdminCP → System → Settings → Posting → Merge concurrent posts.

Yes, you most definitely can do that too. It’s called ‘Merge concurrent posts’ in your AdminCP. 👌

You can use the ‘Edit’ feature next time to combine numerous posts into one post. Makes for a better reading experience. 🙂 This same feature is available on IC4 as well. Great news and great work to the entire team. You guys are making this software so much better with every release.

How many developers are there at XenForo? 🤔 I think you should definitely, at the very least, give Invision Community a test run again and see if it works for your community. You may be surprised what there is and what is yet to come of the new version. It really is amazing work that the team are doing and it shows on so many levels.

That’s not a bad thing in my opinion. Nothing is perfect, and if the Invision Community Team are continually fixing bugs, then you know the software is actively being worked on and developed. I would much rather that than uncover a bug that never gets fixed.
