1. Upon opening the mobile drawer, all submenus are collapsed (see image below). Can we get an option for a submenu item to be open by default without requiring the user to click it open (on a per-menu item basis… it might not be appropriate to have every single submenu expanded by default)

2. Can we have icons visible in submenus in the mobile menu? It’s not very easy for users to scan this menu (see image below) without allowing the display of the awesome font icons…

I’ve pushed some changes today to improve the mobile navigation menu.

1. Icons have been added to submenu links.

2. Active links are now highlighted with the primary color.

3. If the active link exists inside a submenu, the submenu will be expanded by default on page load.

I don’t believe we have any plans to introduce an “expanded by default” feature for submenus on mobile, although you could potentially do this with CSS.
